That said, with 39 stylish and spacious bedrooms, a cosy bar with open fires, real ales and outstanding food, overseen by Merchant Inns’ double Michelin-starred group executive chef, Rob Clayton, The Talbot Inn has facilities that do compare with many Guildford Hotels. Our new restaurant, which features a stunning copper ceiling and glass wall overlooking the Champagne terrace and garden, is very popular and frequently fully booked, so we strongly advise making reservations in advance.
