Our restaurant is frequently busy, so we strongly advise booking in advance.

Our food is our passion at The Talbot Inn. We are passionate in our belief that it is possible to provide outstanding quality food in stylish yet informal surroundings at sensible prices and have a reputation for doing just that.

Our accomplished Head Chef, Gavin Chilcott and his team produce delicious, seasonal dishes with a big focus on locally sourced produce.

Our menus feature imaginative modern British a la carte dishes, as well as traditional pub classics such as sausage & mash and home-made pies. We also offer mouth-watering bar snack menus and puddings that are quite simply, to die for!

We have a choice of areas in which you can dine, from our cosy bar with its 15th Century beams and open log fires to our new restaurant which features a stunning copper ceiling and glass wall overlooking the Champagne terrace and garden.

Since our re-opening , we have been awarded an AA Rosette, AA Breakfast and AA Dinner Award and voted Best Pub in Surrey in a Surrey Life poll. We have also been listed in the Michelin Restaurant & Eating Out Guides 2009.

Please Note:

The Talbot Inn's restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings. However every Sunday from 2.30pm -8pm we have our BBQ available from our Garden Terrace area from only £15 per person. Booking for our BBQ is not necessary - just turn up on the day!
